Yes. In many states that require in-person attendance, live acupuncture webinars count for face-to-face CEU credit. For example, the California Acupuncture Board allows 25 CEUs via distance learning and the other 25 must be live (in a classroom or a live webinar online). New Jersey acupuncturists also benefit from live webinars for in-class requirement fulfillment. In the USA, no quiz is required for live webinars and for College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) acupuncturists in British Columbia (Canada), the survey fulfills the 2-way requirement and no quiz is required. Webinars are valid for NCBAHM (NCCAOM) AOM-AC category PDAs for North Carolina.
Quizzes are not required for live webinars, only for anytime distance learning courses. Make sure to click the download button to get the link to the live webinar. We will also send you a link via email the day before the event.
There is no time limit for course completion of your Acupuncture CEU or PDA courses.
You make re-take quizzes until a passing grade is achieved. A certificate of completion is automatically generated, and you may print it. There is no extra charge to re-take quizzes.
An NCBAHM (NCCAOM) branded certificate is a term referring to a certificate generated by the NCBAHM (NCCAOM) computer system. After passing a HealthCMi course, two certificates are generated. A HealthCMi international certificate is generated. Automatically, the HealthCMi system also has the NCBAHM system generate an NCBAHM branded certificate. These certificates guarantee that your CEU and PDA credits are valid everywhere.
Yes. HealthCMi courses are automatically reported to the NCBAHM (NCCAOM) for instant PDA/CEU credit. All courses are pre-approved by the NCBAHM for Diplomate PDAs. Upon successful completion, your acupuncturist continuing education credits are automatically reported to the NCBAHM for you.
Yes. As of January 2, 2026, the organization previously known as the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) officially changed its name to the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM), with continuity of certification and credentialing functions. All HealthCMi courses are NCBAHM approved for Diplomate PDAs (CEUs).
